Our Work:
Education
Computer skills
We provide training and access to computers so students and their families can learn how to navigate the internet and use software. By developing these competencies, students excel academically and learn skills for future employment.
School supplies
We support families with school fees, scholarships, and other resources they need for their children to attend and excel at school. We ensure that the children have books, notebooks, pencils, uniforms, and shoes so they are ready and confident to learn.
Tutors
Volunteer tutors provide students with the extra help and guidance they need after school. In addition to helping with homework, these volunteers are also mentors who provide social and emotional support through their commitment and encouragement.
Family Support
Nutrition
We provide nutritious meals for students in school and access to healthy foods for parents and families. Our goal is to prevent malnutrition so children develop to their full potential.
Microgrants
We assist parents with micro business grants to help them start or expand small businesses. They also benefit from training in money management and business development skills.
Healthcare
Costs associated with routine doctor visits, emergency care, and prescriptions are provided to families by the Lazarus Mission. Workshops, hosted by healthcare professionals, on topics like personal hygiene, first aid, and other ailments are offered to the community at no cost.
